Words of encouragement for OIT moms, from OIT moms
You are Graceful
My Mexican friends say graćias for thank you. The word sounds like grace.
You are Loved
I like to look at the favorite dollies and animals my children have almost hugged to death.
You are Nimble
You are not a failure if you change up the systems at home; you are nimble, organized and observant! In a word, you are amazing!
You Have Always Been Beautiful
The food allergy journey is hard on us moms, but we’ve always been and always will be beautiful.
OIT: A Healthy Habits Journey
OIT maintenance can be a great way to teach a child a foundation of healthy living.
“All Things Work to the Good…”
“All things work to the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28.
You Are Loved More Than You Know
Close your eyes and remember all those who have loved you. Not by name, but by moment.
Normal is Just a Setting on Your Dryer
Did you think OIT would make your life more normal?
My mom had a favorite book entitled, “Normal is Just a Setting on Your Dryer.” Isn’t that the truth!?!
You ARE Patient
I always laugh when people first meet me and find out that I have a bunch of kids, or that I homeschool them. “You must be so patient!" they usually exclaim.
Happy Independence Day
We Americans love independence. It is a bittersweet reality for Mom, though.
Say “I Love You” with Time
Kids spell love: T-I-M-E. No summer camp, exotic trip, pile of toys, nor the latest electronic do-dad can replace time-with-you.
Mother May I?
id you ever play ‘Mother May I?’ The word MAY doesn’t immediately give me warm and fuzzy feelings. It is just such a polite and asking kind of word. Not an OIT Warrior Mom kind of word.
Have some encouragement you’d like to share?
Well, we want to hear it! Fill out the form below and we’ll share it to all the website and ask Ollie to share it in his letters to the gang.
(Please do not share any medical advice, thanks!)
