OIT: A Healthy Habits Journey

OIT maintenance can be a great way to teach a child a foundation of healthy living. Sprinkle into your daily dosing conversations other age appropriate questions. How much water or veggies or exercise do you think you need each day? What other healthy habits would build you into a strong boy or girl / young man or woman?  What things wouldn’t?

Don’t rush this. You have years of maintenance. But, how cool would it be to try to challenge your child to add a new healthy habit into life once or twice a year and then track the growth of the new habit and celebrate the accomplishments? Maybe your whole family can try something together.

Enjoy the journey to better health. One day at a time.
