Supplies

· A clean plastic jar (like a nut butter jar) with a lid

· Blue, white, orange, and green acrylic paint

· 3 marbles

· 1 peanut shell or orange felt (if you/your child are allergic to peanuts)

· Cotton ball

· Glue

· Black permanent marker

· Paint brushes

Directions

· Wash and dry your plastic jar

· Squeeze blue and white paint onto the inside of the jar.

· Add the marbles to the jar, screw the lid on tight, shake until the jar is coated in paint, and let dry

· Use the green paint to draw seaweed on the outside of the jar

· Split the peanut shell in half lengthwise, cover with orange paint, and let dry. (alternatively, cut a fish from green felt or construction paper)

· Once your peanut fish is dry, use the marker to draw on a face.

· Paint the inside of the peanut fish with glue, then stuff the fish with cotton and let dry. (you’ll probably only need part of the cotton ball).

· Use the glue to attach the peanut fish to the jar and let dry.

· Fill with pencils, pens, or markers.

· Enjoy!
